Recently, Apple said that they are working with some of automotive companies. Those companies include General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Hyundai. Apple is planning to integrate its software iOS in car dashboard. Thus making the driver/ user to drive the car with automatic voice control and other great functionality from Apple’s iOS. Integrating Apple’s iOS might create a friendly interface for the user to keep assisted while driving using GPS. Though special voice features are already available in some cars, integration of Apple iOS in car dashboard would make much more handy.
There’s a lot of difference of using Apple iOS in the car than the normal ones which exists now. Customers can easily connect the iOS in car with their iPhone. It is said that, they can even run iOS application in car. Not all applications can run in iOS of the car but they can be made to run using your iPhone.
Siri is the most useful feature that can be integrated in the car. Apple has integrated them wisely with good voice capture system so that the Siri can respond to the user’s request clearly.
The iOS in car works with the app Siri which caters lot of functions like, navigation, controlling music, turning air conditioner on/off and even the phone functionality.
This integration of Apple iOS in Car will really uplift the sale for both the automotive companies and Apple. The interface of Apple software is already loved by most of the people around the world. The interface looks more friendly to the users. Thus by making the same interface to appear on car would make more easier to use. Also, one of the auto executives said that the advantage of keeping one common interface is self-evident.
