To set a reminder after 30 minutes of Facebook usage every day, you need to do the following:

  1. Open Facebook App.
  2. Tap on Hamburger icon.
  3. Go to Settings & Privacy
  4. Tap on Your time on Facebook.

  5. Now tap on Set daily reminder.
  6. Decide on how much time you want to use Facebook every day and tap on Set reminder.

Now, Facebook will notify you whenever this time is exhausted.

Use iOS Screen Time

If you are using an iOS device, you can use the Screen Time feature in your Settings to totally black-out the app after a few minutes that you set.

To set Screen Time for a particular app, try the below steps.

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Go to Screen Time.
  3. Under Screen Time section, tap on your iPhone’s name.
  4. Now tap on Facebook.
  5. Go to App Limits.
  6. Set a time and tap on Add.

After you’ve set the Screen Time, iOS will actually measure how much time you have used the app. When the time exceeds the amount of time you have set, you will not be able to use the app unless you want to enable again. You can also set a passcode if you want, in case you want to limit Facebook usage on your child’s iPhone.

Use the Pomodoro Technique

Researchers have shown that your productivity time increases when you take breaks at certain regular intervals. In case you are going to work continuously on something and if you want to be productive, you can make use of the Pomodoro technique. In this technique, you will work for 25 minutes straight and a 5-minute break. You can make use of this 5-minute break to grab a coffee or use social media or anything other than the work you are into.
