Google Doodle Collection : London 2012 Olympics

London 2012 Olympics has been started from July 27, 2012 to August 12, 2012. The internet giant, Google has not become idle. It celebrated the London 2012 Olympics by changing it's doodle featuring a particulat olympic game. This Olympics, which was informally known as London 2012 Summer Olympics and officially considered to be the Game of XXX Olympiad. 204 countries participated in the games and more than 10,500 athletes participated in the games of London 2012 Olympics. It inspired the athletes and people by their motto, Inspire a generation. I must say that London 2012 Olympics is a special collection of sports which contained 302 events in 26 sports.

Google started to refine search results according to the search query more accurately. They even made their search results to change that when you request for London 2012 Olympics, it displayed the schedule, event, details and other useful information in the search results. This was very much useful to many people. Without even have to choose a correct website and see for news, Google made this process more easier. However, the official website appeared mostly on the first page of the most appropriate keyword.

July 30, 2012 was the day when Cao Yuan / Zhang Yanquan of China won a Gold Medal in the event Synchronized 10 m platform. Fencing was featured in Google homepage.

July 31, 2012 is supposed to be the __ of the London 2012 Olympics and 23 sports was conducted on that day. Google celebrated the with a doodle containing the game Rings.

August 1, 2012 was really a special day for Mission's Hayden who won the first Olympic freestyle bronze medal. The game field hockey was featured in Google's homepage.

August 2, 2012 - Google celebrated by featuring Table Tennis sport on it's homepage. The festival day contained 21 sports.

August 3, 2012 became a special day for Roger Federer who beat Juan Martin Del Potro in a marathon final set. Google celebrated the day with a Shot Put Doodle in its homepage.

August 4, 2012, Google celebrated the London 2012 Olympics by featuring a Pole Vault Google Doodle in it's home page. Serena Williams and Venus Williams defeats Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in a Women's Double Tennis match.

August 7, 2012, Day 12 of the London 2012 Olympic games. The brothers, Alistair Brownlee and Jonathann won a Gold and Bronze medal in that special day. Google celebrated the day with Hurdles Doodle which was the first interactive gaming doodle of all Doodles featuring with London 2012 Olympics. Google users found it more interesting about the doodle.

August 8, 2012, Google celebrated the day with another interactive Google which played Basketball when we press space bar. It displayed the points you score after the game play.

August 9, 2012, Slalom Canoe game was featured on Google's homepage. Yet another interactive Google doodle which was supposed to be played using the arrows of the keyboard or also using the mouse.

August 10, 2012, an ever green favorite game of ours was featured on Google homepage. Guess what? It's Soccer. An interactive Google doodle, in which you need to defend the ball when the player hits the ball to the goal.

August 11, 2012, This time, Google didn't provide an interactive doodle. This was a static doodle but was a great one. they featured Rhythmic Gymnastics on their homepage.

August 12, 2012, the last day, which was a closing ceremony of London 2012 Olympics, Google celebrates with an appropriate doodle which it did for the opening ceremony. Not an interactive Google Doodle.
