We all are excited about the new Nokia 3310 as we already know that Nokia was once a pioneer of making mobile phones that last longer, both regarding battery and life span. After Apple and Android smartphones had come into existence, the market for Nokia diminished at a greater rate. Microsoft bought Nokia and the devices that the company made only had Windows operating system, where this operating system was not open, and most of the consumers did not like just because of unavailability of modern apps.

Here are the reasons why you should not buy Nokia 3310:

1. Nokia is just a brand, the phone is manufactured by HMD Global

A Finnish manufacturer, HMD Global is currently producing the all new Nokia 3310. HMD is a mobile manufacturing company that has rights to use the brand "Nokia" on the mobile phones they manufacture until 2024. Also, Nokia has plans to introduce Android smartphones later this year, which is again manufactured by this company. Nokia is still Nokia as consumers think but the quality that Nokia handsets had in earlier days might diminish.

2. Nokia 3310 supports only 2G

While the country is heading towards 5G technology, the all new Nokia 3310 is reportedly said to support only 2G. However, the phone also comes with dual SIM support, both supporting only 2G.

3. Nokia 3310 won't work at United States, Canada, Australia and Singapore

The Nokia 3310 has a 2G band with frequency 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. Unfortunately, contries like United States, Canada, Australia and Singapore will not support these frequencies. Singapore is currently supporting this frequency but the country will not support any 2G bands after April 2017. Hence, the new Nokia 3310 (2017) becomes an unseless device. If you are a traveler who travel to these countries a lot, then the Nokia 3310 (2017) will not be helpful though the device can provide you a long lasting battery.

4. Less Resolution Camera

While Nokia was manufacturing feature phones with 5 Mega Pixel of camera, Nokia 3310 (2017) is said to have only 2 Mega Pixel of camera. This means, you get a photo of low resolution than other Nokia feature phones provided. However, Nokia 3310 (2017) has a LED flash, thanks for that, Nokia!

5. No Selfie Camera

It is 2017 and no selfie? This makes many youngsters very disappointed. The only way that today's kids enjoy is by taking a selfie while having a pizza, or a selfie with their friends. While a Nokia cannot provide a way to take a selfie, then this is no longer a best option for today's youngsters.

6. 2G Data Only; No WiFi

Nokia X2 QWERTY is yet another feature phone, had 2G band but supported WiFi. Basic Nokia Asha models such as Nokia Asha 501 or Nokia Asha 308 had a touch screen, however, was not accepted as a smartphone, although it had WiFi and other essential apps.

Nokia 3310 (2017) is a feature phone and not a smartphone. This is a phone released to remind the old Nokia 3310 which was famous for device life and physical strength. The company clearly knows that selling a 2G phone in the market in 2017 is not a good idea, but people are ready to afford for this feature phone just because it says "Nokia." The phone is worth to try as we all are fans of Nokia even though Apple and Samsung replaced the market.
